Signal whistles are first mentioned during the English crusades to the Holy Land. It was used to signal troop movements and relay specific orders. It has been used at sea to signal changes in duty for sailors, warn of danger and to send orders to ships close by. Today it used mostly in camping and hiking. Our adventure set comes with a simple bamboo whistle and a modern compass. Whistle signals music is also included.
